Pad Thai Love Anyday

by Nicci on 10/08/2009

I had the BEST Tofu in the world today!!

I went to Pei Wei (first time) with my friend Carlos and fell in love.  I like the atmosphere and I was surprised by the scenery inside.  I had pictured a typical fast food joint inside, but it was a very nice chain restaurant. The serving of food was so much, that I boxed up half of my meal for Fridays lunch.

I loved every bite of it, so many peanuts!

I’ll have to try out their other vegetarian options next visit.

Haha, just noticed it looks so similar in color to last night’s meal. lol

Later I snacked on some trail mix, while I filed papers in my office. I hate filing, but I like to be organized.

Snack #2

Cascadian Farm Granola bar, just what I needed something sweet & salty

Now, Chris and I are driving down to Lavonne to visit his parents & go out for dinner.  We’re going to a pizza place, so I hope I can eat more than cheese pizza tonight.

Weekend Goal: Drink more water, stick to portion control.

Fun filled 3 day weekend is almost here!! Woo Hoo :)

  • Friday: Birthday dinner, Haunted house
  • Saturday: Baby Shower
  • Sunday: Church, Rest
  • Monday: State Fair w/Renee

What are your weekend plans??

Yum. That pad thai looks yummy. I don’t normally like it, but that looks great. So does that sweet and salty bar.

Mm, that pad thai looks yummy! I’ve never been to Pei Wei, but I always hear how good it is.

I have to work tomorrow (boo!), but after that I’ll be on vacay for a week, which I’m pretty psyched about! :D

This weekend is going to be chill. Just getting some stuff done for next week at work and hanging out with the husband. Good weekend plans in my opinion!

Pei Wei is great. My plans are to go back home to my husband. Time to head back to the island. Then I will take a vacation from my tiring vacation here.

Kaytee October 8, 2009 at 6:39 pm

I’m jealous. I don’t get Monday off! My plans are just to do a little bit of cleaning and watch my nephew play football. I’m probably going to have a movie night with some friends Friday night. Super exciting, right?

I love Pei Wei. So many great veg options and it’s surprisingly high quality (unlike Panda Express. ick)

So glad you like tofu! I love it! But I know so many people can’t stand the texture of it. Have you ever tried tempeh? Pad thai is one of my favorites :) No plans just yet – just rest and relaxation. Have a good night!

sue October 8, 2009 at 4:03 pm
